Belgrade, Serbia, 12-9-24. around noon I
was picking up a well-known art critic, Djoric, from his place near Mirijevski
Boulevard and I dropped by this Mol gas station [photo above] to take a leak there. as I exited the
toilet, I felt an overwhelming presence of fumes as i overheard the cashier
saying aloud, "What are you spraying?!“ she was referring to the guy on a
ladder who was lingering over my head spraying chemicals into the walkway from
above and yet directly into the path whereat i walked by. I felt shocked and upset because what the
cashier saw was telling she must had thought that the person was doing something truly improper.
I walked out bothered and came back inside seconds later to ask that guy
what he was working with in case i felt sick later on and he replied it was an
AC cleaner ... he showed a can to me so i photographed it. as i traveled with Djoric, I complained to him about the numbing
tension, pain and funny tightness in my chest combined with some kind of heartache
that were present due to this incident and those irritating feelings have been lasting up to this very moment ...
