do you see something very wrong
with this memory card here I purchased yesterday at gigatron store in Belgrade, Serbia?
well, I do. it looks very much like a fake or reject at best. at least it does
not look legit. another clue – they are relatively expensive so their looks
should not be questionable on a first glance. one does not need to reach on
internet to check and compare how they should look like. the first memory card I received at the register – where they keep them – also looked exactly like
this. and again – what looks very wrong with it? I asked for another package of
the same item and after I paid, I realized that the second package too was problematic
- dirty like it came off the flea market. with bill paid, I was supposed to leave the store but
they had two more cards on their rack behind them so I politely asked to inspect
another package (hey, what could have gone wrong?!!) and exchange it for the dirty one which was enough to alarm the seller and the people in corona line
standing behind me - they were all ears now. I felt like they were drawn in as
if they were up to witness some con artistry at that instant. I felt like I was
going to be jumped. the seller - cashier got all four packages asking me which
one i wanted – the remaining two were same as the one in the photo herewith except
the one in dirty package, that was the only card that looked right. so I took any
one – I just did not want a dirty package with visible fingertip marks thinking
of corona virus. the cashier then gave the one I picked – the one you see here –
along with the one whose package was dirty to senior cashier to inspect them
both and see if barcodes were same. the senior cashier asked me what was wrong
with the one I did not want. well, I did not explain in detail because I realized
everything was already way too awkward and I kept jamming the “line”. I just
said - dirty! In Serbia lines are everywhere. people waiting in lines to enter stores for
a long time. I felt people behind me were on their edge. before
deciding to go for the card as well, that purchase was completed at 14:42, I had
purchased a small carrying bag in the same store - time when bag was paid on a
slip is 14:39. when I started towards the exit I quickly realized I also had the bag I bought hiding underneath my left arm (kept there naturally in order to have able hands for
paying and handling card, money and bills) because I was not
asked if I wanted to buy a plastic shopping bag and I did not need one as my car was just outside. the
exit was also blocked and someone was in my way without intent to step aside to
allow passage. I used my sneaker to push barricade aside and passed inches away
from the man standing in the way – at the exit - even though corona distancing is
in effect in Serbia. the most awkward thing I find is to keep asking people locally to
move away thousand times – it is like asking for fight, my fellow countrymen are not easy to
deal with. I also felt that to the people behind me it looked like I was hiding
something underneath my arm and then I realized throughout the day that the
entire Serbia and the rest of the world – even President Trump had a new color codes
on – were alarmed of “another problem with me” and here I am asking again, do
you see what is wrong with the product here? throughout the entire day I kept
feeling as if someone kicked me in the nuts from behind cowardly.
I am also enclosing the receipts for items purchased.
