few thoughts while catching a break from running the gantlet in Serbia

in serbia you run the spiritual gantlet - and occasionally a physical one - if you were exposed in public as the narodni neprijatelj

someone said: if all else fails, the abuser recruits friends, colleagues, mates, family members, the authorities, institutions, neighbors, the media – in short, third parties – to do his bidding. he uses them to cajole, coerce, threaten, stalk, offer, retreat, tempt, convince, harass, communicate and otherwise manipulate his target. one form of control by proxy is to engineer situations in which abuse is inflicted upon another person. such carefully crafted scenarios of embarrassment and humiliation provoke social sanctions (condemnation, opprobrium, or even physical punishment) against the victim. society becomes the instrument of the abuser.
when every day a number of unknown individuals show open hostility toward you in public it is natural that you are not going to trust anybody anywhere. call me paranoid all you want but that would be the daily reality for any normal human being who would like to live a bit longer without picking up a fast growing aggressive cancer. you just do not know where - at which serving or servicing point - that one person, out of many that hate you with passion, is going to be. thus if you neutralize threat from satellites and proxies to some extent (it is impossible to fully suppress their attempts), the cryptic powers that be will have to make effort to do the bidding and come after you on their own while it may or may not happen.

new age serbian philosophers and independent public opinion creators are interviewed at various local youtube independent “media productions” and some of them state that Serbs are endowed with divine spark. I say not now, in the past maybe. on the serbian streets there is a number of crime (harassment, persecution, targeting) prone freaks, not so many angels walk around. at least I do not pay attention to those that do not pay attention to me. but there are many fallen angels that are trying to mess with and spoil my day. there is a spark of evil in them for sure and not the spark divine. what these serbian thinkers are saying on independent media sounds like we the serbs have been the chosen people throughout the history of mankind which means there was not any Enlightenment in America at the end of 18th century and during the entire 19th century. during most of the 19th century main serbian industry was most likely a pork production and I do not want to research what it is today. yes, in comparison, I believe serbs of that period were much, much better people. and honestly, to be honest, I’d be more interested living in 18th or 19th century America than the America of today. that said, the only times of history that I think would be highly interesting to live in as the contemporary witness would have been: 1) to be around Christ in Galilee & Judea; 2) to be around the Fathers in America during the latter decades of the 18th century; 3) to be around Van Gogh during the entire stay in France as of 1886; and 4) to be with the Custer's column just ahead and during the battle of the LBH. those are the most potent and interesting periods of humanity for me, anything else is forgettable unless personal in the current lifetime. at least I forgot.
